PRELUDE

WELCOME

ADULT CHOIR……………………………………………………………………………………………….."Psalm 48"

1 From heav'n O praise the LORD; Ye heights, His glory raise.
2 All angels, praise accord; Let all His host give praise.
3 Praise Him on high, Sun, moon, and star, Sun, moon, and star,
4 Ye heav'ns afar, And cloudy sky.

5 Yea, let them glorious make Jehovah's matchless name;
  For when the world He spake They into being came.
6 And from that place Where fixed they be, Where fixed they be,
  By His decree They cannot pass.

7 From earth O praise the LORD; Ye deeps and all below;
8 Wild winds that do His word, Ye clouds, fire, hail, and snow;
9 Ye mountains high, Ye cedars tall, Ye cedars tall,
10 Beasts great and small, And birds that fly.

11 Let all the people praise, And kings of ev'ry land;
  Let all their voices raise Who judge and give command.
12 By young and old, By maid and youth, By maid and youth,
13 His name in truth Should be extolled.

  Jehovah's name be praised Above the earth and sky.
14 For He His saints has raised And set their power on high.
  Him praise accord, O Isr'el's race, O Isr'el's race,
  Near to His grace. Praise ye the LORD.

The numbers are Bible verse numbers in Psalm 148.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his | courts with praise!*

Give thanks to him; | bless his name!

For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures for- | ever,*

Pastoral Care ~ What do these two words mean to you?  A congregation is given a pastor as a Shepherd to care for you, its’ members (sheep), both in spiritual and physical ways.  He is not only the spiritual leader of this congregation, but his calling includes much more.  The pastor cares for the congregational members, whomever they may be, when he conducts regular services each week telling us of the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, administers the sacraments, counseling and uplifting those of us that need reassurance, visiting the members in hospitals, nursing homes, shut-ins in their own homes, meeting the physical needs of those in need, and caring for all of us in times of distress and sorrow or other family situations.

        Our Pastor and family now needs our SUPPORT, PRAYERS, KINDNESS, COMFORT and HELP while undergoing this period in his life regarding the cancer and medical treatments he now faces.  We need to come together as a congregation to give to him and his family the support needed since he has given so much to all of us.  I believe that caring for one another is a vital part of Stewardship.  As it was said in a sermon a few months ago “Let’s Do It”.  Let us show our Christian love and compassion to our Pastor and his family.

Robert Haensel, Congregational Chairman

                      Your Savior’s peace to you, and ...

“Friendship Registers” Red Worship V folders are in the center aisles of the pews.

Prayer Requests At the back of the church is a box marked “Prayer Requests”.  Please deposit your prayer requests in the box.  The church office will pick them up each week.  Please add whether or not one would like to have those prayers added to the “Partners in Prayer” requests printed up each Sunday.

Hospital visitations -- please let Pastor know if you will be in the hospital.

Quiet books for the children are located at the back of the church.  Scribble sheets are in the pew rack in front of you.

Rest rooms (2) are located on the same floor as the sanctuary, across from the mailboxes.  One is handicapped accessible, and has a Baby Changing Station.

Trinity celebrates “close” communion and invites members in good standing of sister congregations of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod to commune with their Lord within this family of faith.  Trinity asks those desiring to commune for the first time to speak with pastor or an elder prior to worship.
