A big hug and a warm thank you to all of the people who did the baking, setting up and serving the Sunday Advent goodies. You are all appreciated. Also, a a big thank you to those of you who baked the Christmas breads and those who delivered them to our shut ins. The next LWML Board meeting will be Wednesday, January 4, 2012 . At this meeting we will be putting together the budget for the 2012 year and preparing the Mission projects. The next LWML Group Gathering will be Saturday, January 14, 2012. We will meet in the Stalecker Room at 9:30. The board will be presenting the budget and the Mission projects for voting on. If you have any project ideas for 2012, please let one of the board members know.

"Soon after the LWML Convention in Peoria, the LWML reached an amazing milestone. More than 100 million dollars has been gathered by LWML since its founding in 1942." ~ from a Kay Kreklau letter dated 11-23-2011. When the world's fair was in Seattle in 1962, I saw a bin that held 1,000,000 silver dollars. It was huge!! To imagine the dollars raised by LWML is totally incomprehensible. Yet, it's done with our mites, one mite at a time.
